Join us for the fourth talk in the 2016 UQ Architecture Lecture Series with Richard Kirk of KIRK.
Richard Kirk, principal director of KIRK (formerly Richard Kirk Architect), established the practice in 1995 after graduating from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours. Richard’s noted performance throughout his studies have continued to provide an intellectual basis for the driving ideas behind the practice, with KIRK firmly recognised as a leader in the design of quality architectural outcomes for complex landmark buildings.
Richard Kirk has established the practice as a leader in designing buildings of cultural significance on sensitive and important sites, with the majority of its commissions awarded through design competitions.
Kirk has a great interest in the role that well-made buildings play in the communities and environments they intend to serve.
