Applications for the $20,000 Queensland-Cooper Hewitt Fellowships are being accepted now.

Design Minds encourage all interested teachers to apply for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The Fellowship supports registered Queensland school teachers to visit the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in New York to gain experience in classroom, community and online strategies for delivering quality design education.

Past winners have included many of our Design Minds contributors such as Terry DeenDawn Boland, Adam Jefford and Les Hooper and the current 2016 Qld Cooper Hewitt Fellow Dana Holden.

To be eligible for the opportunity you must be an Australian Citizen or have Australian residency; and be a registered practising school teacher (Prep-Year2).

Applications close Monday 19 December 2016 at 1 pm. For information visit Advance Queensland website.
